Christmas party!

This weekend.

We went last year and it was really nice. I was a little nervous back then because Alexander was just a baby and he nursed. He still nurses now but he doesn't need me as often. My parent's will be coming to stay with us to babysit and hang out. Thank goodness for them. They're awesome and Alex has so much fun with them.

I'm going to dust off my trusty LBD to wear since I don't feel like hauling around a toddler while trying to shop. I also need to get a haircut and it's been way too long since I've had one. I had my best haircuts at a salon in Tulsa and I'm a little afraid to go anywhere else. Since traveling 2 hours to get a haircut is out of the question then  I guess that means that I'm just going to have to suck it up and actually make an appointment somewhere here in Enid. I have really thick hair and stylist find it hard to cut/style. Thanks genetics.

Also, my son barely has any hair on the top of his head. He's currently sporting a mullet and I think it's adorable. Until winter is over and then I'm chopping it off. Haha.

Am I a horrible mother for stopping to take a picture before picking him up? I don't think so. I mean LOOK at how cute his "cry face" is... I'm terrible :)

I figured that I might as well update this ,but I'll probably be pretty horrible at this since I don't have a lot of free time. Here goes...

My name is Alyssa and the reason why I don't have a bunch of free time lately is because I'm a SAHM to my 13 month old son, Alexander. I'm also married to my high school sweetheart. His name is Lee and he works in the oil biz. We've been married since June 16, 2007 and it's been  pretty amazing. On top of having a busy toddler (really?!), we travel...A LOT. We're gone for weeks at a time and it's really fun even though it's for my husband's job. Can anyone out there relate?
